Factorization is an essential mathematical concept that can be applied at all levels of education. Factors are used to group individuals or objects and help us determine the number of possible groups that can be formed. Factors have various practical applications, such as in important tasks and games.

There are various methods for teaching students how to understand and apply factorization concepts at different grade levels. A particularly effective approach is to create engaging and enjoyable activities for learners to participate in. One such activity that was successful with grade 4 students at Primary Campus- I, North Nazimabad, involved using Venn diagrams to complete a task. The students were given two numbers and a set of flashcards and were asked to use the Venn diagrams to find the factors of the numbers while forming groups with equal participation from all students. This activity helped the students discover many factors and provided a fun and enjoyable way to learn new concepts that will be useful at higher levels. Students also took turns checking each other’s work to ensure better understanding and accuracy.
