On 26th January, our Grade 3 students proudly hosted the Community Heroes Podcast, a student-led learning experience connected to their Social Studies chapter on Communities.
This unique session transformed the classroom into a lively podcast studio, where students stepped into the role of young interviewers. With confidence and curiosity, they asked thoughtful questions to real-life community members, learning first-hand how different professions contribute to the well-being and growth of society.
๐ Bringing Communities to Life
The podcast featured interviews with professionals from diverse fields, including:
- Doctors
- Engineer
- Chef
- Businesswoman
- Security Supervisor
- Accountant
Each guest shared insights about their profession, daily responsibilities, challenges, and the importance of their role in the community. The students listened attentively, asked follow-up questions, and made meaningful connections between textbook concepts and real-world experiences.

The Community Heroes Podcast was more than just an interview sessionโit was a powerful platform for student voice. Learners demonstrated strong communication skills, confidence, and curiosity while engaging respectfully with the guests. Their enthusiasm reflected deep engagement with the topic and a growing understanding of how communities function through cooperation and service.
