\u00a0As we all know, Mathematics inhibits a prime position in our lives and it will not be erroneous to say math has been in our blood since our existence.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Instigating the best amalgamation of fun and academics, Beaconhouse School System NNPII held a branch based Math\u2019s competition \u201cMath Magician”<\/strong>\u00a0for grade 6 and 7.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>The competition was carefully designed and conducted by Subject Lead Ms. Lubna Masroor with her team of Math teachers comprising of Ms. Naheed Nawab, Ms. Seema Zahid, Ms. Faiza Farrukh.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Math Magician<\/strong> was divided into three rounds.<\/span><\/p>\n

1<\/span>st<\/span> Round: All students participated and used their math power to qualify for Round 2.<\/span><\/p>\n

2<\/span>nd<\/span> Round: Qualifiers of 1<\/span>st<\/span> round\u00a0 attempted an online quiz. High achievers won their spots to compete in Round 3 with teams from other sections.<\/span><\/p>\n

3<\/span>rd<\/span> Round: Finalists of Round 2 were made a team of 4 students from each section. These teams competed against each other in Round 3.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It was a two category contest. Students competed for the title of Math Magician in Teams and Individual categories.<\/span><\/p>\n

The 3rd Round happened to be the most thrilling event of the whole competition. Students enthusiastically contested in front of a live audience comprising of their fellow students, School Head Ms. Aisha Haseeb, SM Ms. Iram Nadeem, SM Ms. Madiha Abbas, school coordinator Ms. Javeria Khan, their teachers and parents.<\/span><\/p>\n

The air was filled with excitement and fortitude. It was a spectacular show of skill, presentation, wit and discipline. Students were tested for their critical thinking, motor skills, logical reasoning, <\/span>problem-solving ability, and even effective communication skills.<\/span><\/p>\n

All the participants were given certificates. Winning teams were awarded with certificates and medals. Winning Individuals were awarded with shields along with medals and certificates.<\/span><\/p>\n
