The excitement in the air was undeniable as the Student Council Elections 2024 brought forward some of the brightest and boldest students in Classes 4 to 6, all vying for the honor of leading their peers and shaping school life.
The journey began on 2nd September 2024, when the criteria for candidacy and a Google form were shared, inviting applications from those aspiring to the distinguished positions of Head Boy and Head Girl.
Following an overwhelming response from eager applicants, the Student Council in charges meticulously reviewed each submission, where their aptitude for leadership, communication skills, and vision for the school were rigorously evaluated. These shortlisted students then advanced to the interview stage on the 4th and 5th of September, where their leadership abilities, communication prowess, and forward-thinking vision for the school were thoroughly evaluated.
From 9th to 12th September, the campaign trail was abuzz with creative posters, inspiring speeches, and a shared commitment to improving school life. The election culminated in a highly anticipated e-voting process on 13th September, ensuring a transparent and efficient voting experience.
The excitement crescendoed at the Grand Investiture Ceremony on Thursday, 19th September 2024, as the eagerly awaited results were finally revealed. The newly elected Proctors, Deputy Head Boy, Deputy Head Girl, and the Head Boy and Head Girl were triumphantly announced, each ceremoniously adorned with a sash, a powerful symbol of their official induction into the Student Council and the beginning of their impactful leadership journey.
