Teaching and learning History is fun. Despite the fact that History has an endless number of dates and events that need to be remembered, our ever so diligent teachers made it interesting a big time at BSS NNPII.
They helped students remember them better by using mnemonics, which is a way of translating information into a form that the brain can remember better.
The advantages of mnemonics are two-fold. First, they help students encode information in long-term memory. And, second, and which is even more important, mnemonics help students retrieve information from long-term memory. Mnemonics serve almost like a fishing line.
Students of Class 6 made the Mnemonics to learn the sequence of the chapter they are studying these days. Every student actively makes a mnemonic on Google Classroom by his/her own and shares it with the class fellows which helps them to learn history as fun.
