Beaconhouse School System is the largest global educational partner of Global Dignity, an independent, non-profit organisation, working towards creating a global conversation about dignity and promoting dignity-based leadership.

As an active part of the system, North Naziamabad Primary II branch is celebrating October’ 2022 as Global Dignity Month with diverse activities.

Like every year, our students, teachers, members of the support staff and whole management are participating to celebrate and raise awareness about the inherent universal right of every human to lead a dignified life.

On the third Wednesday of October’ 2022, Global Dignity Day was celebrated at BSS NNPII with its traditional grace.

The students of Grade V and IV conducted a morning assembly to emphasize the importance of dignity. The assembly led to the announcement of Dignity ambassadors for the year 2022-23. The event also included a short interactive session where our little Beaconites with their whopping intelligent minds responded benignly elaborating what they think dignity is.

The beautiful presentation of songs, role plays and thoughtful performance on everyday incidents was appreciated by the audience including students and teachers whole-heartedly.

Our ever so caring and responsible students showed the dignified ways to tackle unexpected, toxic or unfortunate events with responsibility and grace. They portrayed that the real purpose of celebrating Dignity Day asks us to look beyond what divides us and recognize the humanity we share.

In addition to the month long celebrations, students of Grade I and II created a beautiful ‘Dignity Tree’. They printed their hands on the tree and then wrote a word according to their understanding related to ‘Dignity’ on the palm of the prints.

Students of Grade III and IV channelized their tech savvy intellect and used an online app Canva to design posters illustrating the importance of Dignity in daily life.

Students of Grade V and VI created Padlet Wall by writing short stories and poems and shared messages of respect.
