Our incredible science teachers use a variety of teaching techniques, to help young beaconites explore the world of botany.
Students of Grade 4 explored, dissected and examined the of male and female reproductive parts of different flowers, investigated the pattern of petals and ovules.
The excitement was evident by the glowing faces of our learners while identifying the different seeds and ways of seed dispersal by exploring their structure.
They performed different experiments to observe the effect of light, temperature and water on seed germination.
The topic got more interesting when they prepared and examined the slides of different parts of flower, performed the experiment of seeds germination in plastic bags and to add up the very real life context to it, they prepared and examined the slide of an onion plant cell.
