Following up the traditions of applauding best values, BSS NNPII celebrated Global Dignity Day in the third week of October with a week long celebrations.
A dedicated team of teachers consisting of Miss Sumaira Muazzam and Miss Mahwish Faysal conducted special activities with an agenda to consolidate values of kindness, understanding, tolerance, and compassion among students.
A special assembly was held to present sashes to Dignity ambassadors. Dignity ambassadors took oath to uphold their responsibilities in maintaining all these attributes inside the school.
All the students of grade 1 till 7 amalgamated to show their assurance to the cause in a grand morning assembly with speeches and sing-alongs related to Global Dignity Day. They passionately presented their understanding of dignity and shared stories depicting their caring behaviour for the society.
A charity drive was led where students zealously donated their old books and toys generously to the underprivileged children of ANJUMAN-E-KASHANA-E-ATFAL-O-NAUNIHAL.
Our students brought smiles to many faces by making and sending Get well soon cards to hospitals for suffering patients. Delighted with this thoughtful affectionate gesture, hospital staff shared the pictures of patients rejoicing in the moment of gratitude.
Students presented flowers and chocolates to the supporting staff to thank them for their contribution.This act of kindness created awareness regarding equality of all human beings. It asserted the fact of everyone deserving the same level of respect. The supporting staff appreciated the benevolent effort and received the act gladly.
Brimming with enthusiasm and contend, students joined hands to make a circle to show unity , empathy and acceptance among themselves.
All these activities were carried out to educate and inspire our students and to help them understand the concept of dignity and self worth. The day ended with the spirit in heart to extend our respect to everyone around ourselves in the society.
