Families are an integral part of one’s life. Engaging families with school help to form a shared understanding between school and home. Keeping the theme families in mind a family visit was scheduled for the Pre Nursery students where students interacted with members of the guest family. The family included grandfather, grandmother, father, mother, paternal uncle and aunt, brothers, sisters and cousins. The Guest family enjoyed their visit and spent a relaxing quality time with the students. They shared their thoughts, routines and how they live and have fun together in a joint family environment.
A small music session was conducted as part of entertainment in which students sang and performed on popular poems and rhymes and collected a lot of praise from the guests. As a token of appreciation, novelty souvenirs were shared with each member of the invited family. A group photograph of the family was clicked and set in a handmade photo frame especially designed for them to save as a special memory of that day.
