Since the beginning, Beaconhouse has always prioritised academics and extracurriculars at the same level. We have strived to create the best environment for our children where they can excel in academics and indulge in extracurriculars. BSS provides a platform for their students to showcase their plethora of talents. Each year we celebrate Universal Children’s Day with the same zeal and enthusiasm but this time it was more special as the event took place for the first time since the introduction of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Students from early years to lower primary all hustled together to be a part of the special assembly of Universal Children’s Day. Parents were invited to watch their children’s performances. The aim of the event was to make our students feel valued and to educate them about their rights. It was a wonderfully colourful programme with a variety of performances. Students played various roles, whether it be of announcers, reciters, actors, or singers. Vibrant costumes, incredibly lifelike props, a stunning selection of media, and the buzzing excitement contributed to the otherworldly experience.

All the acts portrayed the message of good friendship, unity, and teamwork. It is our institution’s mission that we portray healthy representations of our cultural values through our events.

We extend our gratitude to the incredible parents of our students. It is their cooperation, efforts, and support which provided an additional backbone to the whole preparation of series of assemblies that took place.
