Jacob o Reilly wants a pet<\/strong><\/p>\n

New theme \u201cPet\u201d was introduced to the kindergartners in school. The theme related reader \u201cJacob o Reilly wants a pet\u201d was also introduced. Pet Day was organized in school to entertain all the kindergartners keeping the SOPs in mind. Students came dressed as their favorite pet animals. They wore beautiful and bright animal costumes, Beautiful setup was arranged by the teachers in the activity area. The set up included three corners.<\/p>\n

  3. Presentation area<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Students were given equal opportunity to participate in all the activities. Students gave wonderful presentations on the pet animal they loved and were dressed as. All the children read the story of Jacob o Reilly wants a pet. The story is about a small boy who wanted a pet, but every time he suggested a pet his parents would refuse his options. In the end after several suggestions\u00a0 he started his pet sitting business by the name of “Pet-sitter Jake”. He took care of all the pet animals left by their owners at Jacobs place. In the end of the story when all the pets left for their homes Jacob found his perfect pet sitting on the nail waiting to be loved.<\/p>\n

    In the Word puzzle corner, Students were provided with the small laminated passages in which they were given few learning activities. In those activities students read a passage and found given digraphs from the passage.<\/p>\n

    Students gave power pack presentations about different pet animals. Students talked about the eating and sleeping habits of animals. They also talked about animals and their homes. for example, dogs live in a kennel, rabbits live in a burrow, birds live in a cage, hens live in a coop and many other.<\/p>\n

    All the activities were beautifully ended by the enthusiastic dance performance by the students on the song\u201d love your pet\u201d<\/p>\n
