Spelling bee<\/strong> is a competition that helps children improve their spelling, increase their ability to spell a broad range of words with a varying degree of difficulty, and develop correct English usage. It also helps build self-confidence and more importantly, it is a lot of fun.<\/p>\n

An Interclass Spelling Bee Competition-2022,<\/strong> among the students of Grade-2<\/strong> is organized at Beaconhouse School System Askari 10. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The purpose of the competition was to develop and enhance self-confidence, communication skills, public speaking skills and the ability to thrive under pressure among students.<\/p>\n

The day began with the recitation<\/strong> of holy verses by the students of Grade-2 <\/strong>followed by the National Anthem<\/strong>. The competition consisted of four Rounds with different skills. All five sections comprising of five team members each were given a list of words for Round-1<\/strong>. The students with 95% marks got selected for Round-2 and 3. <\/strong>Our little champs participated in all four rounds with enthusiasm and excitement.<\/p>\n

Team Nancy Drew<\/strong> \u2013 Two Blue was the winner Team. They were awarded cups, a trophy and gifts.<\/p>\n

Team William Shakespeare<\/strong> \u2013 Two White was the runner-up team which was given cups and certificates.<\/p>\n

All the participants were given certificates by our Senior Mistress, Miss Muneeza Ahad at the end.<\/p>\n

Mothers, participants and the audience enjoyed all the segments of the competition thoroughly. It was an untiring effort and dedication of students and teachers of Grade-2 to make it a memorable event.
