Traditional sports and games are a means to encourage values of solidarity, fair-play, inclusion, and cultural awareness. In addition, traditional sports and games reflect cultural diversity, and foster mutual understanding and tolerance among communities and nations.<\/p>\n

Every region in Pakistan has traditional sports that are played and celebrated among locals; depicting a picture of energy, joy, and cultural richness. These are conducive to physical health and fitness and require minimal resources. The true flavor of these games lies in their accessibility and ease of play.<\/p>\n

At Beaconhouse Askari 10 we have showed that aside from building fond childhood memories, these games have been important in developing early cognitive abilities like gross and fine motor skills, critical thinking, negotiating and conflict resolution. They help us learn about teamwork and deep friendships; essential for healthy and holistic development.<\/p>\n

Beaconhouse firmly believes that it is important to safeguard and promote sports and games. Hence keeping that in mind Beaconhouse Askari 10 campus organised Early Years sports fest to encourage young athletes. The event was titled ” Winter blast” themed winter sports. The event took place on 17th February, 2022 in the school ground. A spectacular presentation of sports by early years was witnessed by parents. Pre-nursery, Nursery and Kindergarten students performed with zeal and zest.
\nThe event started with permission taking ceremony and it was followed by energetic march by students along with their teachers.<\/p>\n

Every level performed gymnastics and aerobics. Beautiful presentation of dances on lively songs were presented by pre-nursery students.<\/p>\n

Snow ball collecting race, Fishing race, Bonfire race,\u00a0 Mitten Race, Snowman pasting race, Laundry race, Ball balancing race, Go through Hula hoop race and the list goes on of spectacular presentation of energy and enthusiasm by early years students. The races came to an end by the relay boys and girls race along with the Obstacle race. Every child was awarded a trophy along with a participation certificate in order to motivate these energetic souls. Parents were also motivated to participate in P.T steps and perform for\u00a0 their children.<\/p>\n

The event was a huge successs and it show cased the real energy and enhusiasm of our students. We thank our teachers and support staff for their countless efforts towards their students and school. Together we make a Dream Team.<\/p>\n
