Children’s Day is celebrated on 20 November each year to promote international togetherness, awareness among children worldwide, and improving children’s welfare. This day is meant to respect every child’s personality, freedom, rights and responsibilities.
In order to build a strong nation we must instill good values in our children providing them love and care; guiding them through thick and thin till they become confident and strong enough to contribute in building the nation.
Universal Children’s Day is a brilliant time to teach your children about diversity and acceptance.
Children’s day was celebrated with utmost zeal and enthusiasm at Beaconhouse Askari-X. The celebrations began with the recitation followed by variety of fun filled activities, songs and skits prepared by the students of Grade-II. Children were invited to have a fun-filled day at school in their favorite clothes – some were dressed as superheroes while others looked as princesses. The school was well decorated and the students were given a warm welcome.
They enjoyed age appropriate skits about Children’s right to health, education and shelter. Not to forget the hip hop song by Grade-II that engaged the student’s attention for a good time. A skit on the importance of ‘Differences’ and ‘Equality’ was very entertaining. Lovely photos were clicked at the stage along with their classmates.
The day ended with balloon ceremony and wonderful memories lingering in everybody’s minds.
