Grade 1-Orange students recently hosted a morning assembly that left an indelible mark on our young learners. The focus of this assembly was the 4th habit from Stephen R. Covey’s famous book, “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.” The students commenced the session with a recitation and translation of a meaningful verse. To ensure that everyone understood the profound message, the students thoughtfully provided an English translation.
The highlight of the assembly was the exploration of the 4th habit: “Think Win-Win.” The students explained that this habit emphasizes the importance of approaching situations with a mindset focused on mutual benefit. They shared examples from their daily lives, illustrating how practicing this habit can lead to better teamwork, cooperation, and stronger relationships. Their stories of sharing toys, helping friends, and finding solutions that make everyone happy resonated deeply.
As the assembly approached its conclusion, our young students delivered a heartwarming song performance. The lyrics conveyed the message of collaboration, fairness, and the beauty of finding solutions where everyone wins. The melody and harmony of their voices left a lasting impression.
The assembly concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session. The students demonstrated their understanding of the concept and answered questions from the audience.
The assembly highlighted the budding leadership qualities within our young students and emphasized the importance of fostering an attitude of cooperation and fairness in our lives. These students have shown us that by practicing this habit, we can build stronger, more harmonious relationships and contribute to a more positive and collaborative world. Good job Little champs!!!
