Grade 1-Red students organized a morning assembly on 26th September that celebrated a valuable life lesson from Stephen R. Covey’s “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.” The focus of this assembly was the 6th habit, a habit that lays the foundation for effective teamwork and collaboration. The students began with the recitation and translation of the Holy Quran and concluded with a heartwarming song presentation.

The assembly commenced with a serene atmosphere as our Grade 1-Red students took the stage to recite verses from the Holy Quran. They thoughtfully provided an Urdu and English translation, ensuring that their peers grasped the profound wisdom of these verses.

The focal point of the assembly was the exploration of the 6th habit, which emphasizes the concept of synergy. The Grade 1 students acted as Super Heroes and showed how to collaborate and become leaders to achieve their goals. They also explained that synergy means working together as a team, where the combined efforts of individuals produce results that are greater than the sum of their individual efforts. They shared examples of how synergy can be seen in everyday life, such as teamwork in sports, families working together, and students collaborating on school projects.

As the assembly drew to a close, the Grade 1 students brought joy to the hearts of their peers with a heartwarming song presentation. The song celebrated the theme of synergy, highlighting the beauty of unity and working together to achieve common goals. The melody and lyrics left a lasting impression, emphasizing the importance of teamwork and collaboration.

The Grade 1 morning assembly on the 6th habit, “Synergy,” was a testament to the budding leadership qualities within our young students. It served as a reminder that even at a tender age, they can grasp the significance of working together harmoniously and achieving more as a team.

Let’s carry the lessons from this assembly in our hearts. May we all remember the power of synergy, and strive to collaborate, support, and uplift one another in our collective pursuit of knowledge and growth.
