What a spectacular performance by Nursery students… They made us all proud. The young Stellar Stars presented the most energetic and full of colors show. Al the students from nursery level participated in a very unique and a mesmerizing show called “Stellar Stars” The event was scheduled on 18th March, 2022 Saturday at the school campus.
Hosted by all the early years staff and Administration.
We were privileged by the honorable presence of our Chief Guest Mrs Fariha Najam and Miss Nadia Bashir. The event was conducted by Miss Amna Azhar.
The event was divided into segments that included a Welcome Performance and the theme was “Around the world in 60 minutes” by Nursery.
By the nursery performers choreographed by Miss Mehreen Shazia.along with Miss Iqra and the music teacher Sir Samuel Hanook. Followed by the welcome performance was the beautiful cultural representation of Pakistan.
Pakistani Culture is very unique in terms of its social values revolving around the religion of Islam. The region has formed a distinct cultural unit within the main cultural complex of South Asia, Middle East and Central Asia with an integration of elements from various invading cultures from the earliest of times. The performance included four sets of musical performance by nursery students on Baluchistan. Punjab, Sindh and KPK.
What a beautiful blend of colors and cultures from across the globe. The performances smoothly transitioned from one culture to another. Next performance that was on the list was about the culture of Europe. This musical fiesta was choreographed by Miss Amna Hammad.
La vida es corta. Vive apasionadamente y siente la felicidad. In Spanish it means “Life is short. Live passionately and feel happiness’. That’s what we do, living each and every moment with passion and pure joy. In Spanish culture, people live life to the fullest. But, not in a hurried way. Instead, Spaniards tend to take their time, deliberately, to appreciate the world and people around them. In Spain, people savor long, multi-course meals and wander vivacious villages and charming cities. This beautiful quote was followed by worth watching Spanish performers from BSS Askari X campus. They showcased the beautiful culture and the dance from Spain. The performance was choreographed by Miss Sameera Shahab.
The Culture of Africa is varied and manifold, consisting of a mixture of countries with various tribes that each have their unique characteristic from the continent of Africa. Students of nursery tried to showcase the hints of African culture in their performance. The performance was led by Miss Amna Hammad followed by a mood changer “Butterfly dance” by the beautiful group of girls dressed up as butterflies.
Turkey has a very diverse culture that is a blend of various elements of the Oğuz Turkic and Anatolian, Ottoman (which was itself a continuation of both Greco-Roman and Islamic cultures), and Western culture and traditions which started with the Westernization of the Ottoman Empire and continues today. The performance was led by Miss Saffa Taimur.Mirza. Students were very vocal and showed lots of enthusiasm while performing.
For the filler performance students performed on the song “Daak babu” That was a spectacular performance that evoked nostalgia in the audience. That was choreographed by Miss Amna Hammad. Furthermore the cultural presentations went to another step with the performance from the country “China”
Chinese culture is one of the world’s oldest cultures, tracing back to thousands of years ago. Important components of Chinese culture includes ceramics, architecture, music, literature, martial arts, cuisine, visual arts, philosophy and religion.
This performance was highlighted by the cultural Chinese performance and some information shared by the students regarding China.
The last and the show stopper performance of the Stellar Stars show was the UAE presentation. Emirati culture is a blend of Arabian, Islamic, and Persian cultures, with influences from the cultures of East Africa and Indian Subcontinent. Islam has had a prominent influence on local architecture, music, attire, cuisine, and lifestyle.
They showcased the beautiful culture and the dance from UAE. The performance was choreographed by Miss Saffa Taimur.
The show came to an end with a Thankyou note from the Head Mistress amd he honourable chief guest Mrs Fariha Najam. There motivating words for the nursery studensta nd parents were the cherry on the top.
