The sun was shining bright, the air filled with excitement and cheers as on 16th of February, the students of Lower Primary geared up for one of the most awaited events of the year – Run Fest! Primary students, with their spirits high, eagerly awaited the day’s festivities.

The morning began with a heartwarming recitation, setting the tone for the day ahead. Students showcased their linguistic skills as they translated verses, displaying their proficiency in both Urdu and English.

Amidst anticipation, Grade 1 student Kanwal Bilal extended a warm invitation to our esteemed chief guest, Ms. Saira Rizvi, Headmistress of United Chartered School, for the ribbon-cutting ceremony. With a sense of honor, Ms. Rizvi inaugurated the event, marking the beginning of a day filled with fun and camaraderie.

The school ground came alive as students, class by class, participated in the march past, exhibiting discipline and unity. Grade 1 students then charmed everyone with a delightful welcome song, showcasing their talents.

The races began with Grade 1 Yellow and Blue, where students sprinted with determination, showcasing their athletic prowess. Following this, the Grade 1 girls mesmerized the audience with a power-packed hula hoop performance, displaying their agility and coordination.

Next up were the races of Grade 1 Red and Orange, where students dashed towards the finish line with sheer enthusiasm. Meanwhile, Grade 2 boys captivated everyone with an awe-inspiring gymnastics display, showcasing their strength and flexibility.

As the day progressed, Grade 1 boys showcased their physical prowess with a captivating PT display, leaving everyone impressed. The races continued with Grade 2 Orange, where students demonstrated their speed and agility.

The energy soared as Grade 2 students showcased their talents, with aerobics by the girls and a mesmerizing basketball performance by the boys, bringing the day’s festivities to a thrilling conclusion.

Run Fest at Askari-X was not just about competition; it was a celebration of sportsmanship, teamwork, and the joy of participation. As the students cheered and applauded each other’s efforts, it was evident that the spirit of unity and sportsmanship resonated throughout the event, making it a day to remember for years to come!
