Ramzan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. Students were engaged in activities to raise awareness of and importance of the holy month of Ramzan. They were shown how to perform wuzu, say their prayers, and do iftari along with the duas for sehri and iftar.

When the Prophet (peace be upon him) would complete his wudu he would say the shahada:
“Ash-hadu an la ilaha illal lahu wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan ‘abduhu wa rasuluh.”
Followed by the Oreo milkshake activity. Students made Oreo shakes for iftaar which was linked with the topic of sequencing in English. Later they wrote the procedure of ‘Oreo milkshake making’ using sequence vocabulary in their LL lessons.
