Congratulations to Beaconhouse Askari 10 Campus for securing first position in the virtual speech contest.
What is Dignity?
It is the state or quality of being worthy of honour or respect.
Dignity means to be kind loyal, humble and courageous . To have a dignified life, one can fulfill them self in their full potential and one has the freedom to make the right decision. Dignity should be the basic of guiding and the principle of all actions. Dignity is something one can’t do by them self.
On Global Dignity Day, Beaconhouse JTJ invited everyone to broaden the vision and horizon of thoughts/beliefs and look beyond what divides us; a chance to recognize the dignity and humanity we share. JTJ invited 2 Kindergarten students from BSS branches to take part in our Virtual Dignity speech contest which was held on Tuesday,18th October’2022.
Let us all take it as an opportunity to inculcate the notion of respect in our generation and promote dignity.
For the past 11 years, Beaconhouse School System has celebrated Global Dignity Day with dedication and commitment, to raise awareness of the importance of dignity and to unite everyone with the belief that we all deserve to live a life of dignity regardless of age, race, creed, colour, national origin, religion, gender identity, disability, or socioeconomic status.

There speeches are as follows:
Eesa Ali
Good morning respected teachers and my dear friends. It is a great privilege to address you on the occasion of Global Dignity Day.
I believe in two things-dignity and honour. For me dignity means to value myself and to value others.Dignity is the right of a person to be valued and respected for their own sake, and to be treated ethically. It is of significance in morality, ethics, law and politics as an extension of the Enlightenment-era concepts of inherent, inalienable rights.
Abdul Hadi
Now let me tell you why we celebrate dignity day?The initiative educates & inspires youth to help them better understand their self-worth. The day also taps into the values of kindness, understanding, tolerance, and compassion. We define dignity as the state or quality of being worthy of honor and respect.
It is important that our dignity as a human being is recognized. ‘It is better to lead a dignified life than to never live at all.’ So my fellow school mates, I urge you all to lead a dignified life, a life where you give importance to self-respect, ambition and hard work to realize your dreams.
Eesa Ali secured 1st Position and made everyone proud.
we would like to congratulate the teachers and the proud parents involved and for making this speech contest a memorale one.
