Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ, the celebration of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), is a day of deep reverence for Muslims worldwide. Observed during the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal, it serves as a powerful reminder of the kindness, compassion, and timeless teachings of the Holy Prophet. At Beaconhouse Askari-X, the day was commemorated with profound enthusiasm and respect, instilling values of empathy, love, and spirituality among students.
This year, in the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal, Beaconhouse Askari-X warmly welcomed Grade-II students and their mothers to participate in this meaningful event. The stage, adorned beautifully by our talented Art teachers, set the ambiance for a truly memorable Milad. The program began with soulful recitations of Hamd and Naat by teachers and mothers, filling the hall with a sense of devotion and peace. The audience, especially the mothers, praised these heartfelt recitations, which set the tone for the morning’s events.
The students of Grade-II showcased their love and admiration for the Holy Prophet ﷺ through various presentations. Grade II-Yellow students shared the Shajra-e-Nasab (lineage) of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), while Grade II-White captivated the audience with a role play that highlighted the Prophet’s teachings of love, patience, and forgiveness. Students of Grade II shared inspiring insights on Akhlaq-e-Hasna (exemplary character) and the Mojzaat (miracles) of the Holy Prophet.
The event was filled with moments of spiritual reflection, and many mothers described the experience as uplifting and spiritually nourishing. They expressed gratitude for the opportunity to witness their children learning about the values that form the foundation of an ethical and compassionate life.
The celebration concluded with a heartfelt dua and the distribution of sweets, spreading joy among students and staff. The School Headm Senior Mistress and the School coordinator along with several teachers, also recited Hamd and Naat, adding to the morning’s reverence and beauty.
