This week at our vibrant kindergarten, we delved into the rich tapestry of Urdu language and culture during our much-anticipated Urdu Week. The school buzzed with excitement as our little learners engaged in various activities that not only celebrated the beauty of the language but also fostered a sense of camaraderie and curiosity. Urdu week celebrated at Askari X campus Lahore was divided into 3 main categories. That was handwriting competition, quizzes and the culmination.
Handwriting Competition:
The week kicked off with a lively Handwriting Competition, where our budding writers showcased their emerging Urdu script skills. The classrooms echoed with the careful strokes of tiny hands, each letter a testament to the dedication and enthusiasm of our young participants. It was heartening to witness their progress and growing confidence in expressing themselves through the elegant curves of Urdu letters.
General Knowledge Quiz Competition:
Knowledge took center stage as our inquisitive kindergarteners participated in the General Knowledge Quiz Competition. With questions ranging from basic vocabulary to cultural tidbits, the quiz not only tested their grasp of Urdu but also ignited a passion for learning about the diverse aspects of the language. The enthusiasm was palpable as our little scholars eagerly shared their newfound knowledge, creating a dynamic learning environment.
Assembly Presentation – Culmination of Urdu Activities:
The pinnacle of Urdu Week was the assembly presentation, a culmination of the week-long activities.
