It signifies both the halfway point of the year and an important time for setting new goals and realigning a fresh outlook. it’s a special opportunity for students to reflect on their hard work and celebrate all the progress they’ve made, and there’s a lot to celebrate for making it through these first 100 days!

Importance of play

From making friends to confidence with letters and numbers, there’s a lot to learn when starting school. Children learn a lot through play

When were kids we didn’t have game apps, downloads or DVDs…we had imagination!

Imagination that was put into use through play….Play is nature’s way of teaching children how to solve their own problems, control their impulses, modulate their emotions, see from others perspectives negotiate differences, and get along with others as equals. There is no substitute for play as a means of learning these skills.

A typical pre nursery classroom is full of stimuli for role play different corners of the room are designated as the learning areas or free play areas. Here children use their imagination to create their own real life situations or indulge their senses in fairy tales …..Simultaneously reinforcing the theme, the letter, number or concept being taught that day.

We have areas of experience in place for the word Subjects as early years is all about experiential learning. One segment blends effortlessly in to the other and by the end of the day the student has a better understanding of the concepts being taught.

The objective of this event was on completing 100 days with BSS, Pre-Nursery students will show case their learning on the stage which will help in boosting their stage confidence.

Teachers who were involved in this event made it possible for the students of pre nursery to stand before the audience with enthusiasm and confidence.
