This session focused on adult learning, monitoring and intentional planning\u2014key elements that contribute to nurturing confident, independent leaders for the future.<br \/>\nAt the heart of the discussion was the belief that strong leadership begins with strong foundations. When adults model clarity, consistency, and reflective practice, students naturally develop the habits and skills required to lead effectively.<br \/>\nOne of the key outcomes of the meeting was the decision to organize a dedicated session for LIM students with the Teacher Lighthouse Team, aimed at developing a clear understanding of leadership roles and responsibilities. These interactions are designed to empower students, giving them ownership of their actions while fostering accountability and purpose.<br \/>\nThe meeting also focused on strengthening partnerships beyond the classroom. The formation of a Parents Lighthouse Team was discussed, emphasizing the importance of shared responsibility in leadership development. Engaging parents as partners ensures that leadership values are reinforced consistently at school and at home.<br \/>\nA significant emphasis was placed on the Emotional Bank Account (EBA). Students will be encouraged to use their EBAs independently, building emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and resilience. It was agreed that EBAs must be used consistently across all lessons, ensuring that emotional learning is not treated as an add-on but as an integral part of leadership growth.<br \/>\nEqually important were discussions around planning sessions for adults. Effective leadership cannot exist without purposeful planning and meaningful monitoring. By focusing on adult learning strategies, reflective practices, and structured follow-ups, these sessions aim to strengthen instructional leadership and ensure sustained impact.<br \/>\nThis meeting reinforced a core belief: BCLR does not focus solely on academic excellence. It is deeply committed to nurturing the Habits of Highly Effective People from a young age.
