In line with this vision, BCLR proudly conducted a two-day Professional Development Session on SEN & IEP Development, reinforcing our dedication to inclusive education across Beaconhouse School System (BSS).
The session was led by Dr. Sajeela, whose expertise and insightful guidance enriched teachers’ understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and the development of effective Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). The training brought together SEN Resource Teachers from Civil Lines Branch, 1/9 Campus, F-8 Campus, and Newlands Campus, fostering collaboration and shared learning among nine committed educators.
With the establishment of a dedicated SEN Center at BCLR, the branch continues to serve as a hub for inclusive practices—supporting diverse learners and empowering teachers with the tools they need to address individual strengths and challenges. Throughout the two days, participants engaged in meaningful discussions, explored practical strategies, and reflected on real classroom scenarios, ensuring that theory translated into purposeful action.
At BSS, we strongly believe that inclusive education begins with well-trained, empathetic educators. Investing in teacher training is an investment in students—especially those who need tailored support to unlock their full potential. This session emphasized collaboration, sensitivity, and adaptability, reminding us that inclusion is not about “fitting children into systems,” but about building systems around children.
This professional learning experience reaffirmed our shared mission: to create classrooms where differences are respected, learning is personalized, and every child feels seen, supported, and valued.
Together, through continuous learning and purposeful action, BCLR and BSS remain committed to shaping inclusive futures—one teacher, one learner, and one IEP at a time 🌈✨

🌟 Nurturing Inclusion Through Knowledge: Strengthening SEN Practices at BCLR 🌟 At Beaconhouse Civil Lines Branch (BCLR), inclusion is not… Continue reading Nurturing Inclusion Through Knowledge: Strengthening SEN Practices at BCLR

[1

post-931","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-uncategorized","entry
["GET
