This term, our brilliant Grade 6 innovators embarked on a transformative Project-Based Learning (PBL) adventure that blended curiosity, coding, and creativity into one electrifying experience.

⚡ From Circuits to Smart Solutions

The project began with a deep exploration of electricity and circuits, where students investigated how current flows, how components interact, and how real-world electrical systems function. Step by step, they moved from guided discovery to independent experimentation, strengthening both conceptual understanding and technical skills.

👩‍💻🧑‍💻 Coding Their Way Into the Future

What truly set this journey apart was the integration of powerful STEM platforms:

Arduino Uno for hands-on microcontroller programming

mBlock for block-based coding and logical sequencing

TinkerCAD for virtual simulations, circuit models, and precision design

With these tools, students engineered an impressive Automatic Street Light Controller—a smart system that senses darkness and switches on lights, just like modern urban technology. Turning abstract concepts into a tangible prototype gave them a real taste of engineering and innovation.

🌟 More Than a Project—A Mindset

Throughout the journey, our Grade 6 learners demonstrated:

Tireless curiosity

Sharp problem-solving skills

Collaborative teamwork

A growing STEM identity that shines as brightly as the lights they created

Their ability to transform an idea into a working solution reflects not only technical skill but also the confidence and creativity that PBL nurtures.

🚀 Lighting the Path Ahead

This project illuminated more than circuits—it illuminated potential.
