Our curious young scientists from Class 6 recently explored the fascinating world of elements, compounds, and mixtures through an imaginative and interactive activity inspired by LEGO blocks.<\/p>\n
Just like LEGO pieces, elements were understood as pure bricks \u2014 the simplest building blocks that cannot be broken down further, like \ud83e\udd47 Gold. Compounds were seen as different types of bricks snapped together in fixed combinations to create something entirely new \u2014 like \ud83d\udca7 Water (H\u2082O). And mixtures? Well, those were the colorful boxes of bricks all jumbled together \u2014 separate, yet sharing the same space \u2014 just like a \ud83e\udd57 salad!<\/p>\n
To deepen their understanding, students used online simulation tools to observe, compare, and classify substances into these categories. The digital exploration helped them visualize how atoms combine and separate \u2014 transforming abstract chemistry concepts into something tangible and fun.<\/p>\n
