This session was conducted by our dynamic Senior Mistress, Ms. Ayesha Imran, along with our dedicated School Coordinators, Ms. Zainab Shiram and Ms. Beenish Salman.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Breaking Myths, Building Understanding<\/strong><br \/>\nOne of the highlights of the training was how effectively it addressed and debunked common myths about PBL. Many educators believe that project-based learning is too complex for younger students or takes away from core curriculum time. Through practical examples and collaborative discussions, our trainers helped participants understand that PBL is not an \u201cadd-on\u201d but a powerful approach that integrates learning objectives with real-world application.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Learning Through Hands-On Activities<\/strong><br \/>\nTo truly experience the power of PBL, the session engaged teachers in interactive, hands-on activities. Faculty members collaborated in groups to design mock projects, analyze real-life scenarios and reflect on how PBL can enhance critical thinking and problem-solving skills. These activities not only showcased the benefits of PBL but also gave teachers practical strategies for implementing it in their own classrooms.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why PBL? Enhancing Engagement &amp; Love for Learning<\/strong><br \/>\nPBL isn\u2019t just about doing projects, it\u2019s about making learning meaningful. When students work on authentic, hands-on projects, they don\u2019t just memorize facts; they collaborate, problem-solve and take ownership of their learning. The training emphasized how PBL naturally builds critical thinking, teamwork, leadership and communication skills, making the classroom a place where students love to learn and engage deeply with the content.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A Boost for Faculty \u2013 New &amp; Experienced<\/strong><br \/>\nThe session was described by participants as \u201cproductive, insightful, and energizing.\u201d It created a space for both new and experienced faculty to share their perspectives, learn from one another and explore innovative strategies for implementing PBL across Grades 1\u20138.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Way Forward<\/strong><br \/>\nThis training was more than just a workshop, it was an invitation to reimagine teaching and learning.
