\n\"\"As the new academic term begins with renewed energy and commitment, BCLR proudly kickstarted the journey with an impactful whole-school teacher training session led by our Instructional Coaches, Ma\u2019am Shaista un Nisa and Ms. Musleha Majid . Focused on \u201c Effective Notebook Checking and Giving Constructive Feedback ,\u201d the session brought together all teaching staff for a powerful refresher and orientation that set the tone for academic excellence.
\nDesigned to benefit both experienced educators and newly inducted teachers, the training aimed to provide a clear framework for notebook checking, an often underrated yet vital practice that directly influences student learning and growth.
\nWith professionalism and clarity, the trainers walked the participants through every essential aspect of notebook monitoring , emphasizing that careful, meaningful checking is not just about marking work\u2014it’s about nurturing student progress. From tagging notebooks, maintaining indexes, and pasting syllabi to the use of standardized editing symbols and correction codes, every element was highlighted through real notebook samples that made expectations tangible and actionable.
\nOne of the most engaging components of the session was the interactive group activity, which centered on crafting constructive feedback and incorporating the concept of feedforward.
