It was followed by a creatively performed skit that shed light on the dangers of plastic use and its long-term impact on our environment. Through expressive acting and real-life examples, students highlighted how everyday choices\u2014like saying no to plastic bags and switching to reusable items\u2014can help protect our planet.<\/p>\n<p>What made this assembly even more impactful was its strong connection to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production and Goal 13: Climate Action. By encouraging sustainable habits and showcasing alternatives to plastic, the students actively promoted the values of responsible living and environmental stewardship.<\/p>\n<p>The presentation concluded with a series of pledges, each one delivered by a different student. These pledges reflected personal commitments to reducing plastic use, spreading awareness, and making eco-friendly choices.
