As the ball rose and fell with every bounce, they observed a powerful scientific idea unfold before their eyes — the transformation of potential energy into kinetic energy.
With each bounce, students carefully watched how the height of the ball gradually decreased. This simple yet powerful observation helped them understand that some energy is lost during each bounce, often in the form of heat and sound.
Through active experimentation, observation, and discussion, students connected scientific theory with real-life phenomena. The activity encouraged them to think critically, ask questions, and explore how energy constantly moves and transforms around us.

“ Science is everywhere — sometimes all it takes is a bouncing ball to reveal its secrets.”

This engaging experiment not only strengthened students’ conceptual understanding but also reminded them that learning science can be dynamic, interactive, and full of discovery. 🔄📚

Energy in Motion: When Science Bounces to Life! “ The best way to understand science is to see it in… Continue reading Energy in Motion: When Science Bounces to Life!

[65
57,3,31,32
post-1236","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-hands-on-activities","tag-award","tag-bclr","tag-bss","tag-bssontop","entry
["GET
