Tiny Hands, Big Care: Our Nursery Learners on an Environment Mission!

Our Nursery Orange, Red and Blue learners have joyfully begun their Project-Based Learning (PBL) journey centred on caring for our environment. Through engaging experiences, children explored how simple actions can help keep their surroundings clean, safe and healthy ♻️✨.
Provocation Activity:Spot the Problem
To spark curiosity, the classroom was intentionally made messy. The children observed carefully, identified what was wrong and shared their thoughts on why cleanliness is important. Working together, they happily arranged the classroom and restored it to a neat and tidy space—developing teamwork, responsibility, and a sense of ownership🧹.

👀 Entry Assessment: What Do We Already Know?
Through guided discussions and observation-based activities, learners shared their prior knowledge about keeping their environment clean and safe. They talked about good habits, asked questions and thought about simple ways they can help care for their surroundings in their daily lives 🌿.

🌿 Environment Walk: Learning Beyond the Classroom
Stepping outside as little explorers, children went on an environment walk around the school. They spotted issues like littering, observed their surroundings closely, and shared easy solutions to keep the environment clean and safe. This real-life experience made learning meaningful and exciting 👣🌎.

♻️ Growing Responsible Habits
Through these hands-on activities, learners developed a growing sense of responsibility, awareness and care for the environment. Each discussion and action helped them understand that protecting the environment starts with small steps—turning our tiny learners into future environment heroes 🌟🌍.
👏 Well done, Nursery Orange, Red and Blue! A wonderful beginning to a meaningful PBL journey.
