On 13th January 2026, the Lighthouse Culture Team came together in the Primary staffroom to reflect, plan, and take meaningful steps towards further strengthening leadership culture within our school.
✨ Key highlights from the meeting:
🔹 Student Lighthouse Team Engagement
Weekly meetings will be held with the Student Lighthouse Team, where students will be entrusted with leadership roles and encouraged to involve peers—promoting ownership, collaboration, and shared leadership.
🔹 Celebrating the 7 Habits
Each month, students who demonstrate the 7 Habits will be identified and celebrated. Their names will proudly shine on our LIM Tree, reinforcing positive behaviour and leadership values.
🔹 Pause Bench Initiative
The team discussed strengthening the Pause Bench initiative. Informative posters explaining its purpose and proper use have been designed and will be displayed near the bench.
🔹 Student Awareness & Emotional Support
The Student Lighthouse Team, along with teachers, will guide students on the effective use of the Pause Bench—supporting emotional regulation, empathy, and a positive return to learning.
