💦Squeeze It, Squirt It, Learn It! 💦
“I hear and I forget, I see and I remember, I do and I understand.”
Learning turned splashy and exciting as our Grade 1 learners explored the concept of forces through a lively, hands-on squirting activity 💦. With plenty of laughter and curiosity in the air, science truly came alive!
As students squeezed and released the squirters, they observed how a push can change the way water moves—near or far, fast or slow. Each attempt encouraged them to think, predict and experiment again, making learning both meaningful and memorable.
This engaging activity helped learners understand that forces are pushes and pulls, while also strengthening their observation skills, scientific vocabulary, and confidence. The ground echoed with excitement as discovery happened through action and play.
A joyful reminder that when children learn by doing, science becomes fun, powerful and unforgettable! 💙
