Peer Tutoring in Action at BCLR

XICR & XICB Biology Students Take the Lead

At BCLR, learning is not limited to classrooms—it’s an experience shaped by collaboration and creativity. Recently, our XICR and XICB Biology students stepped into the role of peer tutors and conducted an exciting session on Cell Division.

What made this activity remarkable was the way students transformed a challenging topic into an engaging learning journey. Using IT tools, digital illustrations, and dynamic presentations, the peer mentors explained complex stages of cell division with clarity and creativity. Their innovative approach not only simplified the concepts but also kept their classmates fully engaged.

The session highlighted the power of collaborative learning. Students worked together, asked questions, and solved problems as a team—promoting equal opportunities for every learner to participate and succeed. More than just biology, the activity nurtured essential 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, communication, and teamwork.

To wrap up, students reflected on their learning through Exit Slips, ensuring that understanding was both deep and meaningful.

✨ At BCLR, we believe in providing every learner the chance to explore, lead, and shine. This peer tutoring session was yet another step toward building confident, collaborative, and future-ready students. ✨
