Parent Orientation: Strengthening the Home–School Partnership
The Parent Orientation Sessions held across all grade levels were a meaningful start to the new academic term. These sessions brought together parents whose children are stepping into their new classes, creating a shared space for clarity, communication, and connection.
During the sessions, teachers warmly introduced themselves, outlined their subject areas, and explained the teaching strategies that will guide student learning throughout the year. Parents were also given a clear picture of classroom routines, expectations, and the support their children will receive in every subject.
What made these sessions particularly valuable was the open dialogue. Parents were encouraged to ask questions and share concerns, and our teachers responded with patience and care, ensuring that every parent left reassured and well-informed. This exchange of ideas highlighted the importance of a strong partnership between home and school.
The orientation was not just about sharing information—it was about building trust and fostering collaboration. It set a positive tone for the months ahead, putting parents at ease and helping them feel confident about the academic journey their children are about to begin.
