If you thought Math was all about numbers on paper, think again! Our incredible Grade 5 learners recently proved that math is a thrilling mental sport during their Intra-Class Mental Math Competition and what a spectacle it was!
The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as students across all Grade 5 sections geared up for a high-energy challenge that tested not only their arithmetic skills, but also their speed, focus and strategy. With no calculators in sight and only their brilliant brains to rely on, these young mathematicians showcased what true number sense looks like.
From rapid-fire questions to tricky brain teasers, the competition had it all. As each round progressed, it was clear, these weren’t just students solving problems; they were mathletes on a mission!
