Little Botanists in Action
Science came alive in Grade 4 as our curious learners turned into little botanists during an exciting hands-on activity!
With magnifying lenses and eager smiles, the young scientists explored the fascinating world of plants through a flower dissection exercise. Carefully unfolding petals, sepals, stamens and pistils, they uncovered the hidden secrets of how plants grow, reproduce and sustain life.
The classroom buzzed with wonder as students connected theory to practice, realizing that every tiny part of a plant plays a vital role in keeping nature’s cycle alive. From the beauty of the petals to the science behind pollination, the learning experience nurtured both knowledge and curiosity.
This activity wasn’t just about observation, it was about discovery, teamwork and appreciation of the natural world. Our Grade 4 botanists walked away with a deeper love for plants and the exciting realization that science is everywhere around us, waiting to be explored.
