Earth Day is an annual global event that occurs on April 22. It is celebrated all around the world raise awareness about pollution, global warming, climate crisis, deforestation etc. Beaconhouse Model Town Junior Campus celebrated Earth Day by setting up segregated trash cans throughout the campus, all the new trash cans have captions such as paper, glass, plastic and metal, this initiative was taken to incorporate the process of recycling in school.<\/p>\n
The students were made aware of the actions that cause different types of pollution, such as littering, burning things, cutting down trees etc.<\/p>\n
The students of\u00a0 Beaconhouse Model Town Junior Campus\u00a0 were given the task of collecting litter from different places and sorting it into the assigned trash cans.<\/p>\n
