At BSS 17-G Urdu week took place from 8th – 12th November 2021. The week was filled with various co-curricular activities for students to participate and engage in . Throughout the week quizzes, stage performances and competitions took place . However the best was arranged for the last .
On Friday, 12th November a beautiful Mehfil-e-Milad was organized .The objective was to let children know how our Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad SAW led a pious life, which leads to success here & after.
The ambiance was set in whites and golds, with array of floral arrangements, eastern calligraphy, incense fragrances, oil lamps, marigold strings, cultural decor ,temborine beats and spiritual performances . Female teachers and students dressed up beautifully with dupatta and traditional shalwar qameez ,whereas boys wore eastern dresses with caps .The students, teachers and parents enjoyed the sacred chants and paid respect by reciting duroods, naats, hamds and duas .
The festive Milad ended with a beautiful dua recited by the teachers , followed by distribution of ‘tabaruk’ among all the attendees and participants .
Urdu week was a success for teachers, admin and students, encapsulating origin of our culture , literature and religion.
