National Pet Day

National Pet Day is celebrated to bring about awareness about the importance of being responsible when owning a pet. It is a pet owners responsibility to cherish and care for our furry, feathered, or scaly pets, whether they are dogs, cats, birds, fish, or other animals.
Beaconhouse Model Town Junior Campus celebrated National Pet Day by asking the students to bring their pets to school to display them and describe how they help in taking care of their pets. They also played games such as “The Animal Alphabet Game” in which groups were assigned and alphabet and were required to name as many animals as they could from that alphabet.
The students enjoyed learning about animals, interacting with them and playing animal games.
