The third Wednesday of October recognizes Global Dignity Day. Global Dignity teaches the concept of dignity which is defined as the right of a person to be valued and respected and treated equally irrespective of their class, cast, creed, religion and colour.
On 19 October, 2022 Beaconhouse Model Town Junior Campus celebrated Global Dignity Day. Many activities were organised to celebrate this day.
One of the activities consisted of making hand impressions using paint on a banner to symbolise that everyone is equal even though the impression are of different size or colour.
The students also honored the custodian staff, the students thanked them for all the aid they provide throughout the day by presenting a musical performance.
Another activity consisted of them making cards for their custodians.
They presented the cards to them with some trinkets such as flowers/chocolates that they brought from home.
A photograph was also taken to commemorate Global Dignity Day in which the students formed GDD.
The day ended with a lunch organised for the custodian staff by the school to thank them for their dedication and services.
