Pakistan ,our beloved nation is a land of diverse cultures, married together beautifully. Our provinces, each carrying it’s unique colours, traditions, language and landscapes. At BSS Model Town Junior Campus, ‘The Cultural Day’ , aimed towards show-casing uniqueness as well as similarities among provinces and to appreciate the festivals and ethnic diversity that comes along .
On the day, the principal, coordinators, teachers and students dressed accordingly, reflecting and celebrating our vibrant traditions. All the classes represented provinces and regions of our country by decorating areas in the school. Each display was richly decorated with rugs , traditional dresses , famous local cuisines , utensils, embroided fabrics, bags, vases, jewelry, artifacts etc .
Moreover students participated in interactive assembly presentations to share interesting facts about our provinces. Later they enthusiastically took part in folk dance displays such as khatak dance , bhangra, luddi, rouf dance, chap , sindhi dance etc .The day was filled with a new sense of patriotism as well as appreciation for rich and beautiful cultures of our country.
