But sometimes, something really sad happens — bullying. Bullying is not just teasing or joking. It’s when someone tries to hurt another person on purpose, again and again. It can be hitting, name-calling, leaving someone out, or even being mean online. None of it is okay.

When someone is bullied, they can feel scared and alone. They might stop enjoying school or feel too nervous to join in class. Some kids even pretend to be sick so they don’t have to go. That’s not fair — everyone deserves to feel safe and welcome at school.

But did you know that kids who bully might be having problems, too? Maybe they don’t know how to deal with their feelings. And when others just watch and do nothing, it makes the bullying worse.

So, what can we do?

We need to speak up and stand up! Teachers and parents should listen when someone says they’re being bullied. Schools should have clear rules that help keep everyone safe and happy.

At home, parents can talk to us about bullying and teach us to be kind and brave. If you see someone being bullied, don’t laugh or walk away — tell a grown-up you trust. Be a friend to someone who needs one.

Let’s all work together to make our school a place where kindness wins, where everyone is treated with respect, and where no one feels left out. We’re all different, and that’s what makes us special!

School should be a happy place where we learn, play, and make friends.
