In line with this vision, we had the privilege of hosting a team of dental care professionals from Aga Khan University for an educational and interactive Dental Hygiene Awareness Session. The event was designed to teach our young learners the importance of good oral hygiene in a fun and engaging way.
\"\"The session began with a lively and age-appropriate presentation where the dental team used props, visuals, and models to explain common dental problems and how to prevent them. Students learned the correct way to brush and floss their teeth, the impact of sugary foods, and the importance of regular dental visits. The interactive nature of the session encouraged students to ask questions and share their own dental care routines.\"\"
Following the presentation, students underwent individual dental check-ups conducted by the professionals. Each child received a brief assessment, with personalized advice and recommendations provided where necessary. The dental team created a warm and reassuring environment, helping even the most hesitant students feel at ease during the examination.
\"\"Teachers and staff also had the opportunity to engage with the team, gaining insights on how to further support and promote oral health habits in the classroom and at home.
This initiative not only educated our students about dental health but also encouraged them to take ownership of their personal hygiene\u2014an essential step in building lifelong healthy habits.\"\"
