When we move our bodies—whether it’s running, jumping, dancing, or even walking—we make our hearts stronger, our muscles active, and our minds more alert. Exercise doesn’t just help us stay fit; it also improves our mood and helps us sleep better.

Being physically active keeps our weight in check and reduces the risk of diseases like diabetes, heart problems, and obesity. It also helps to build strong bones and improves balance and flexibility. But that’s not all—when we exercise, our brains release special chemicals called endorphins that make us feel happy and full of energy. That’s why after a good playtime or workout, we often feel refreshed and cheerful!

There are many simple and fun ways to stay active every day. Children can play outdoor games like tag, skipping rope, cycling, or football. Adults can take brisk walks, do yoga, or join a fitness class. Even small changes in our daily routine—like taking the stairs instead of the elevator, walking to nearby places, or doing household chores—can make a big difference.

It’s important to remember that staying active doesn’t always mean hard exercise. The key is to move regularly and enjoy what you do. Make it fun! Dance to your favorite song, take your dog for a walk, or stretch during TV breaks.

So, let’s make physical activity a part of our daily life.
