The library was empty, and the sunlight made the shelves glow softly. As I placed my book back, I heard a tiny whisper, \u201cPsst\u2026 over here!\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"353\" data-end=\"550\">I looked around, and to my surprise, one of the books had eyes on its cover! It blinked and said, \u201cI\u2019m the Book of Secrets. I only talk to students who truly love reading.\u201d I couldn\u2019t believe it!<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"552\" data-end=\"709\">The book opened by itself, showing shining golden words: <em data-start=\"609\" data-end=\"670\">\u201cKnowledge is magic, and readers are the keepers of light.\u201d<\/em> Then it closed and went still again.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"711\" data-end=\"907\">The next day, I told my librarian, but she just smiled and said, \u201cOnly true readers find the library\u2019s secret.\u201d From that day on, I visit the library every week\u2014hoping to hear the whisper again.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One day I went to the school library to return my book.
