We learn many things everyday so today we learned about being safe online. Our teacher told us that the internet is fun and full of information, but it can also be risky if we are not careful.
We learned the important rule: “Think Before You Click.” This means we should always stop and think before opening links, downloading files, or sharing personal information online. Some links may have viruses, inappropriate content, or try to trick us.
We also discussed how to protect our personal information, like our full name, address, school, and passwords. Sharing these online can be dangerous, so we should only share with trusted adults or safe websites.
Our teacher reminded us that if something online makes us feel confused, worried, or uncomfortable, we should tell a trusted adult immediately.
By following these rules and thinking before we click, we can stay safe online and enjoy the internet responsibly.
