Pick Up, Clean Up, Shine On! by Mustafa Javaid-V A

A few days ago, our class went on a cleanliness drive. Our Head announced that we would be taking part in a cleanliness activity and asked us to wear shirts and hats. A link was shared where we had to confirm whether we wanted to participate. I was very interested, so I wrote that I also wanted to go.
The next day, a van was arranged for us, but some students could not join us. We travelled by a car, and I was also included in the group. Very soon, we reached our destination.
When we arrived, we wore the shirts which we had brought from home. Our teachers provided us with gloves, masks, and garbage bags. They explained that we had to carefully pick up the litter around the area and clean the park. We happily got to work and collected the scattered rubbish. After completing our task, we sanitised our hands and enjoyed playing on the climbing tower. The park was beautiful, colourful, and amazing to explore.
After having a wonderful and meaningful time, we returned to school. I learned that keeping our surroundings clean is not only our responsibility but also very important for our health and hygiene. This cleanliness drive was an informative, enjoyable, and memorable experience for me. It taught me that even small actions can make a big difference!
