My Journey to Becoming the Head Boy by Mustafa Javaid-5A

One week ago, our respected Ma’am sent us a message with a form. She told us that we could participate in the elections for Head Boy and Deputy Head Boy. I selected both options because I really wanted to become the Head Boy this year.

The next day, Ma’am sent us another message saying, “Be ready for tomorrow’s interview.” I was very excited and nervous at the same time. I practised a lot for the interview because becoming the Head Boy was my dream. I also prepared some questions with the help of a chatbot.

The following day, during break time, the teacher called the students one by one for their interviews. When my turn came, I felt very nervous and frightened. However, I tried my best to remain confident. I answered the questions confidently and used appropriate hand gestures while speaking.

When I went home, I performed Salah and prayed to Allah that I would become the Head Boy. I continued praying every day and kept my faith in Allah.

Finally, the day of the results arrived. I was extremely happy and proud when I found out that I had been selected as the Head Boy! My classmates also congratulated me, and I shared the good news with my mother. She was very proud and happy for me.

This experience taught me an important lesson: we should always pray to Allah and trust Him because He is the One who gives us everything we have. I am very thankful to Allah for giving me this opportunity and making my dream come true.

Becoming the Head Boy is not only an achievement for me but also a responsibility. I will try my best to be a good leader, help my teachers and classmates, and make my school proud.
